When the recycling stream at your university vastly differs from the city, it is important to let off-campus students, staff, and faculty know what they can recycle on campus.
The “A Zero-Waste Campus is Wildly Possibly” bus ads targeted commuters in the blue & white bus that services campus. Each banner featured a UK Recycling intern recycling various items correctly on campus. We focused on featuring items that aren’t recyclable through the city of Lexington such as red solo cups and greasy pizza boxes. We also wanted to feature items that commuters may be bringing to campus.
