When the recycling stream at your university vastly differs from the city, it is important to let off-campus students, staff, and faculty know what they can recycle on campus.
The “A Zero-Waste Campus is Wildly Possibly” bus ads were to target commuters in the blue & white bus that service the campus. Each banner features a UK Recycling intern recycling on campus with different items. We wanted to feature items that aren’t recyclable with the city of Lexington like red solo cups and greasy pizza boxes. We also wanted to feature items that commuters could be bringing to campus.
